Choate Rosemary Hall seeks a teacher of music who will also serve as an Instrumental Ensembles Director with a start date of August 2018. Candidates must have fluency in music theory and history and a record that demonstrates professional performance and conducting experience. The successful candidate will be able to teach a range of music courses that may include music history, music theory, music production or other electives. In addition to music courses, the ability to direct one or more of the following ensembles is required: Jazz Ensemble, Wind Ensemble or String Orchestra. Ideal candidates are expected to have at least three to five years of experience teaching and directing ensembles.

Our faculty is deeply committed to the entire student experience; it is expected that faculty responsibilities will include a combination of student advising, residential life, and extracurricular activities.
