Choate Rosemary Hall believes in educating its students to be citizens of the world. One of the goals of our curriculum, as articulated in our mission statement, is to inspire our students to "develop a global perspective on cultural, social, political, and environmental issues."

For over a quarter of a century we have strived to offer a multitude of opportunities for students to live and study abroad in another culture in order to achieve this global perspective. Choate students may elect to spend an academic term in China, France, Italy, or Spain. There are also summer study abroad opportunities in China, France, and Spain. In addition, it is possible to arrange an exchange for an academic term in Germany or to apply for a summer exchange in Japan.
