Study Abroad

Since 1975, thousands of students from Choate and other schools have participated in our summer and term abroad programs. Our programs adhere to Choate’s high academic standards. Participants:

  • Greatly improve language proficiency thanks to classes and homestay.
  • Broaden their geographical, historical and cultural knowledge.
  • Gain invaluable experience in interacting with people from other cultures.
  • Grow personally and as global citizens.

Choate students may apply for:

  • term programs in: China, France, Italy and Spain

We welcome applicants from other schools for:
