    Health Fee

    The annual Health Fee for boarding students is $140; the annual Health Fee for day students is $90.

    Technology Fee
    The annual Technology Fee of $750 per student covers the cost of a student's internet access, e-mail account, phone extension, and usage of all campus technology.

    Study Abroad

    Day students who choose to spend a term abroad will have their status changed from Day to Boarder for the term spent abroad. There is a $3,860 tuition cost associated with the status change.

    Books and Academic Supplies
    The anticipated cost of $850 is based on the current price of books and supplies purchased in the Choate Rosemary Hall School Store.

    Health Insurance
    Plan A ($240) —This is a partial primary insurance; it is an addendum to a family’s current health coverage.

    Plan B ($979)- (required of all international students) This is a primary insurance plan.

    Laundry
    Students have an option to purchase a laundry plan through E&R Laundry & Dry Cleaners of Manchester, N.H., or at a considerable savings, students may choose to do their own laundry at the coin-operated washers and dryers available seven days a week in the laundry building on campus.



    Payment Options

    Choate provides a number of payment options.


    One Payment Plan

    This plan is for families who would like to make one payment for all yearly tuition and fees by July 1st. Families utilizing this option will receive a 1% discount on the tuition and fees (less the non-refundable deposit).


    Two Payment Plan

    This plan requires families to pay 50% of all yearly tuition and fees by July 15 and the remaining balance of tuition and fees by November 15.

    Smart Tuition Monthly Payment Plan

    Choate Rosemary Hall offers a 9-month payment plan administered by Smart Tuition. This is a budget plan that divides the total yearly tuition and fees into nine equal installments and paid by direct debit to Smart Tuition. Families may choose Payment dates of either the 1st or the 15th of each month beginning in June. There is no interest charge; however a $45 application fee payable to Smart Tuition is required. If you sign up after June 1st a late fee of $100 is assessed, for a total of $145 for enrollment in this plan.     Your Tuition SolutionSM

    This is a private educational loan administered by Springstone Financial LLC. Families may borrow $2,000-$40,000 at competitive rates, with no prepayment penalty.     prepGate

    This is a private educational loan administered by The First Marblehead Corporation. Families may borrow up to $150,000 with competitive rates, with no prepayment penalty.     Tuition Refund Plan

    All families of students currently attending Choate Rosemary Hall are automatically enrolled in The Tuition Refund Plan developed by A.W.G. Dewar, Inc. The Tuition Refund Plan will pay benefits (subject to its terms, conditions and limitations) to the family of a student who, for various reasons, is unable to continue attending the school.
