Throughout the year Choate offers outstanding children's art and theater programs and performances.
Children's Theater Series
The Children's Theater Series is made up of plays and musicals that have made children pre-K to grade 4/5 giggle, sing along and cheer for the good guy… or good cow… or good Horton the Elephant.
Act It Out!
For the young artist in your life, Act It Out! is a 6-week program for grades 1 & 2. The program has two sessions; Session I is held in the fall and Session II is available during the spring. Classes are held on Saturdays from 9-11 a.m.

Saturday Six Workshop Series
In the fall and spring, the Saturday Series rocks the PMAC with students exploring theater and visual arts. The series offers six, 3-hour workshops for children in grades 3-8. Workshops include:
- Garbage Band
- Musical Theater and Illustration
- Circus Yoga
- Storytelling and Wildlife Art
- Dance Performance and Abstract Expressionism
- Costuming

Young Artists Summer Programs
Summer is no exception as The Young Artists Summer Programs in Theater and Visual Arts gives children grades 1-6 hours and hours of fun as they uncover their innate creativity and imagination.
The Young Artists program is two weeks of fun, creativity and exploration. Half day and full day sessions are available based upon student age and two separate sessions are run each summer.
