On Sunday, January 8, the Wallingford Parks and Recreation Department opened its Adaptive Skate program at Choate Rosemary Hall's Remsen Arena. Members of the Choate boys' and girls' hockey teams join the skaters, a mix of kids and adults, some from local group homes. The program has been offered to the Wallingford community for 25 years.

Witnessed something pretty cool. Choate boys and girls hockey players skating with special needs children. Great thing to watch. pic.twitter.com/MOWomnXuKR— O.H. Platt Athletics (@Platt_Athletics) January 8, 2017
