On Monday, March 13, before winter storm Stella spread its snowy and icy fingers through New England, the cupola was hoisted atop the new St. John Hall student center. A copper replica of the original Arrow weathervane, created by Sky Art Studios in Meriden, Conn., sits atop the cupola. It is one of four historic campus weathervanes, including the six-foot Rosemary Girl weathervane from Rosemary Hall's main building in Greenwich, now affixed to a wall in the Andrew Mellon Library; the Ship weathervane that tops the Seymour St. John Chapel; and St. George and the Dragon that tops Archbold. See photos from the installation of the cupola. The student center will open this spring.
