Mission Statement
The Choate Rosemary Hall Parents Advisory Council (PAC) is a diverse group of parents, representative of the current student body, which serves as a liaison between the faculty/administration and all Choate parents. Council members are carefully selected to reflect the school’s student distribution by form, by boarding/day classification, by gender and by geography.
The PAC is charged with providing timely and substantive feedback to the school’s leadership and with communicating information and initiatives to other parents through a variety of programs and resources. Members come together for planning and reporting sessions four times a year.
New members are nominated each spring by the Headmaster, Dean of Students, Parent Relations Coordinator, and the current Chair of PAC. Nominees who choose to accept a position on PAC serve on the Council through the graduation of the child whose class they came on with (terms generally not to exceed three years). All parents are encouraged to submit names of prospective new members.
