Parents Weekend

Parents are invited to Experience Choate Firsthand
October 23-25, 2008

Please come spend a few days on campus and see how we live and learn together. Highlights include:

A Few Details:

Class Visits
Join your children and our faculty in the classroom on Friday and Saturday from 8:00 am-1:10 pm. Individual student schedules and campus
maps will be available at registration. Students will follow a 30-minute class schedule.

Parent-Teacher Conferences
On Thursday evening and Friday afternoon, parents have the opportunity to meet individually with their child’s teachers. Conferences are limited to eight minutes to accommodate as many parents as possible. If you are interested in meeting with an adviser or coach, please contact him or her directly to make alternate arrangements.

Parent-Teacher Conference scheduling will take place online beginning Wednesday, October 8. For details and complete instructions, check the Conference Scheduling page. Using an internet-based appointment booking system, parents and guardians will be able to select which teachers they meet with and when.

A reminder: If you are unable to schedule a meeting for the Thursday evening or Friday afternoon conference periods, we suggest that you contact faculty members to arrange an alternate meeting time. If remaining conference slots are available when you arrive on campus, you may also be able to sign up at Check-in.

Sixth Form Parent-College Counselor Meetings (by appointment only)
Please call the College Counseling Office at (203) 697-2528 for scheduling information. Appointments must be made prior to Parents Weekend. Due to the limited number of appointment slots, parents living outside of Connecticut will receive scheduling priority.

Admission Interviews for Siblings (by appointment only)
Please call the Admission Office at (203) 697-2239 for scheduling information prior to Parents Weekend.
