Choate's Perfect Scorers Meet the Governor

Jeff Chen ’06 of Fairfield, Conn., and Kiran Pendri ’06 of South Glastonbury, Conn., were invited to the State Capitol on Friday, June 24, 2005, to meet Governor Jodi Rell. Both students scored a perfect 2400 on the new SAT reasoning test administered for the first time last March.

Paintings by Anna Held Audette at the PMAC until May 26

New Haven artist Anna Held Audette will exhibit her paintings, “Contemporary Ruins,” at the Paul Mellon Arts Center Gallery on the campus of Choate Rosemary Hall in Wallingford. The exhibit opens April 26 and runs through May 26. The gallery is located on Christian Street and is open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and is free of charge.


100 Years of Paul Mellon: A Celebration of his Life and Legacy-September 29

In November 2007, Choate Rosemary Hall received its final contribution from Paul Mellon, Choate Class of 1925: a check in the amount of $1.25 million from the Paul Mellon estate to provide financial aid to needy and meritorious students.

Monday, April 28, 2008

Students registered to take the SATs on Saturday, May 3 are asked to report to the designated test location by 7:45 am. Students going standby or who are changing tests or centers are asked to report to the Athletic Center for processing by 7:45 am.

Spring Visits for Admitted Students

Spring Visits for Admitted Students will be held on Saturday, March 28, Tuesday, March 31, Thursday, April 2, and Monday, April 6. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. in the Library Reading Room. The formal program ends at 2:30 p.m. Families are welcome to stay and visit athletic practices or afternoon rehearsals. Please click on the right for schedule of events.
