Tuition
Within two weeks of acceptance, students must pay a non-refundable $1,000 deposit that is credited toward tuition. To ensure the student's admission, the final balance is due no later than May 2, 2008. Students who are accepted after May 2 must submit their payment in full. This payment includes the $1,000 non-refundable deposit. Charges include tuition, room, board and local telephone service. Textbooks (and course fees, where applicable) are purchased separately at registration by cash, check, credit card or with the student ChoateCard (this account should be established prior to arrival).
International Applicants
Because there is usually a delay of two to three months in the collection of foreign drafts, we require tuition payments in US dollars. They must be drawn on a US bank or wire transferred to Summer Programs.
Wire Transfer Information
Contact Summer Programs for Wire Transfer Information. These instructions, explaining how to make a wire transfer of funds electronically, are for international families who wish to make payment (application fees, tuition, SACPass purchase, ChoateCard deposits, etc.) to Choate by this method.
If you choose to pay by check, the check should be in U.S. dollars, drawn on a U.S. bank, and made payable to Choate Rosemary Hall. Please note the student's name on the bottom of the check.
We do not accept credit cards for payment of tuition.
Refund Policy
In accordance with Choate Rosemary Hall policy, no refund of the deposit or tuition, room, and board fees is made to any student who withdraws, is dismissed for any reason, or departs from the session before the completion of the program.
