Private Tour at the Art Institute of Chicago
111 S Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL

Alumni and parents are invited to a private tour of the exhibition Revoliutsiia! Demonstratsiia! Soviet Art Put to the Test.

Soviet Art Put to the Test fills Regenstein Hall with display spaces from the early Soviet era. Each of the spaces holds rare works of art and features expert, life-size reconstructions of early Soviet objects or entire display spaces, commissioned especially for this exhibition. Our tour guide and friend of Choate Rosemary Hall, curator Matthew S. Witkovsky, will walk us through these spaces in what has come together as the largest exhibition of Soviet art to take place in the United States in 25 years. We will have the opportunity to explore the trajectory of early Soviet art in all its forms and consider what it tells us about socially minded art now.

Space is limited. Register below.

CURRENTLY WE ARE AT CAPACITY. Please use the Registration form and join our wait list.
