Choate Athletics Thrive in Postseason Play

Choate Athletics had a very successful post-season this spring. Choate student athletes were named to the 2019 New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) All-League teams for each of their respective sports.

Girls Water Polo

Boys Track & Field

The team finished in first place at the Division I New England Championships beating out returning champions Loomis Chaffee by just two points. They are this year's 2019 NEPSAC Track & Field Champions!

4 x 400 boys relay team: Evan Karas '19, Mustafe Dahir '19, Chuma Azinge '19, Ahmed Wise '21

Mustafe Dahir ('19) ran in a very competitive field on Saturday, June 1st in the 3000 meters at the Twilight Series Race at Bentley University. He was seeded 5th, but finished 2nd with a personal best time of 8:38.0. All the runners in his race finished in under 9:00!

NEPSAC Division I All-New England Recognition:

The Choate Sailing team competed at NESSA Team Racing Championships in Portland, Maine. This was the second

time in program history that they have qualified for this tournament, the last time they attended was back in 2013. They took home second place!

Girls Crew

Competed at the New England Interscholastic Rowing Championships on Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, MA and placed 2nd.

Boys Lacrosse

Team received the CLOA Sportsmanship Award.
