Program Overview
Since its first season in 1949, the boys lacrosse program has maintained a rich and storied tradition, establishing itself as a premier program in New England. Competing in Founders League and New England West Division 1, our student-athletes are provided the opportunity to compete at the highest level in high school lacrosse.
Our Player Development Model provides a platform for our student-athletes to assist in achieving their goals on and off the field. Through leadership seminars, sports psychology offerings, community service projects, tactical and technical development in the offseason, and a transformational strength and conditioning program, our players learn what it takes to be a Difference Maker as both teammates and as community members. To that end, our core values provide a blueprint for success on and off the field, at Choate and beyond.
Lacrosse After Choate
The program has produced a combined 18 US Lacrosse High School All-American and Academic All-Americans and two Bob Scott Award winners in the last 15 years. Our student-athletes have gone on to matriculate to some of the top academic and athletic institutions in the country, competing in the ACC, Big 10, Patriot League, A-10, NESCAC, as well as the MLL and PLL.
