Wild Boars Sailing
The coed sailing team competes each spring in fleet racing and team racing events sponsored by ISSA (Interscholastic Sailing Association) and NESSA (New England Schools Sailing Association). The team won the CT State Championship in 2014 and 2018 and finished 2nd at the New England Team Racing Championship (Terk Trophy) in 2019.
Did you know?
Before its rebirth as a coed varsity sport in spring 2013, sailing was a competitive sport at The Choate School from 1966-68 and at Choate Rosemary Hall from 1989-92.
Where We Play
We sail on Long Island Sound at the Yale Corinthian Yacht Club, home of Yale University Sailing.
