Arabic & Middle Eastern Studies

Unique among American secondary schools, the Arabic and Middle Eastern Studies (AMES) program offers students a working knowledge of Modern Standard Arabic. In addition to language studies, you’ll gain unique perspective on this fascinating region through guided study of the history, art, architecture of the classical Arab world, and the history and politics of today’s Middle East.
