Lanphier Center

A model for interdisciplinary education, the Cameron and Edward Lanphier Center for Mathematics and Computer Science accommodates a wide scope of academic inquiry. Designed to support hands-on learning, the building fosters collaboration and creativity with spaces for students to work in teams. In addition, the new building is home to Choate’s first purpose–built i.d.Lab© which serves as a catalyst for our curriculum. The curriculum takes students beyond the traditional STEM subjects – science, technology, engineering and mathematics – and incorporate the art of elegant design. The Lanphier Center integrates technology, education, and creativity into a 21st century program preparing Choate students for innovative thinking and creative collaboration.
