Choate Robotics Team Wins Excellence Award

On February 3, 49 high school robotics teams, including 9 Choate robotics teams, competed in the Choate Rosemary Hall IN THE ZONE Qualifier, a VEX Robotics Competition regional qualifier event. This is the second year the School has hosted a VEX competition on campus.

Choate robot 6106A won the Excellence Award: "The Excellence Award is given to the overall top team. It is the highest honor given out in the VEX Robotics Competition."

Beginning in fall 2018, Choate will offer a new signature program, the Advanced Robotics Concentration (ARC). ARC is a three-term honors program that allows students to explore advanced robotics. Students work collaboratively as they prepare to compete in a premier international robotics competition.
