As of March 1, Choate Rosemary Hall and four Connecticut schools entered into a safe competition agreement that will require participating schools to meet agreed upon standards for campus testing, safety measures and competition protocols. Choate's varsity level teams will compete against schools that have signed on to the shared agreement which include, Loomis Chaffee School, Westminster School, The Hotchkiss School, and Taft School.

While the Founders League has announced that the League will not hold formal interscholastic competition for the spring 2021 season, this decision does not preclude the School from having athletic contests with other schools this spring.

To ensure the safety of our community and our neighbors, masks will be worn by players, coaches, and referees, and spectators are asked to cheer on their athletes from afar. Water Polo and Track and Field will not be participating in interscholastic competition due to compliance with COVID-19 regulations. Varsity teams will participate in interscholastic athletic contests as junior varsity and thirds teams practice daily with intrasquad scrimmages throughout the spring season.
