Commencement remarks to the Class of 2022 were delivered by President of the Sixth Form Ryan Lee, who spoke to his peers about the enduring bonds forged during his time at Choate. “I can’t wait to see what the world has in store for our class and what our class has in store for the world,” he said.

Abby Lu, Student Council President introduced professional athlete Lisa Leslie, who gave the Class of 2022 commencement address. Leslie is a three-time WNBA MVP, two-time WNBA Defensive Player of the Year, and inductee into both the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame and Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. In his valedictory remarks, Dr. Curtis, celebrated the Class of 2022’s tenacity, resilience, and commitment to authenticity. He encouraged them to be their best, authentic selves, to find joy every day, and to use their integrity to make the world a better place. “Integrity, respect and compassion must be part of your authenticity,” he said.
