This workshop style course guides students through the complete playwriting process. From idea generation, outlining, character development, and setting description, students compose short plays that reflect themes that are important to them. Students explore how different writing processes work for them and consider the complexity involved in creating a dramatic story within a fictional world.
No prior experience is required for this course, the goal of which is to encourage students to write swiftly, effortlessly, and confidently.
