Introduction to Geometry

This course is designed to provide an introduction to the concepts covered in a Geometry class. Topics include work with triangle identities, angle relationships, properties of parallel lines, polygon angles, the Pythagorean Theorem, and tessellations. Students also encounter the idea of a mathematical proof and work with various computer-based geometry tools to enhance their understanding of the concepts covered.

Prerequisite: Algebra I or Instructor Permission.

Note: This course is not intended to replace a full year study of Geometry.
