Topics in Human Anatomy & Physiology

Are you interested in how the human body works? …what a body system is? …what a disease is?

We begin this brief survey course with a microscopic study of human tissues. Tissues make up organs so once we’re familiar with tissues, we move on to an exploration of the structure and function of several of the body’s organ systems— specifically the integumentary, skeletal, and muscular systems—looking at when each system functions well and sometimes not so well.
